Virginia "Ginny" Steffier

Virginia “Ginny” Steffier ( Nee Kelly), 80 of Carneys Point, went home to the Lord on Sunday May 1st, 2022 with family and friends at her bedside. Ginny was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was employed by Acme Markets for over twenty years. Ginny had many close friends with whom she enjoyed trips to Maine that included snowmobiling. She had and was a great neighbor to many in Penns Grove and Carneys Point. Ginny enjoyed reading and also worked part-time at the Penns Grove Carneys Point Library prior to its closing. In her den hangs a plaque with three words, Faith Family Friends. Ginny could have added the word Food as she enjoyed cooking and cherished hosting Sunday dinners for many years. Everyone who gathered for dinner on Sunday knew it was a privilege to be at her table and will always be grateful. Ginny was predeceased by her husband Leo of 57 years. Also predeceased by her sons Vincent and James. She is survived by her daughter Monica Farro (Joseph) of Pilesgrove. Also survived by her granddaughter Amanda Miller and her children Ava and Mason, granddaughter Erin Cronin(Shane) and their son Kai, and granddaughter Destiny Steffier. The viewing will be private. Graveside service will be held on Saturday May 7 at 11am at Lawnside Cemetery, 1017 Route 40, Woodstown, NJ.
