On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Stephen Cameron, loving husband and father of four, passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 78. Steve was born on December 29, 1939, to Mark and Gertrude Cameron. He served in the National Guard for 19 years, worked at Continental Can and was an admired machine trade teacher at Salem County Vo-tech. He was awarded Teacher of the Year from 93-94. Mr. Cameron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Maryfaith, Daughters; Maureen, Debbie (Joe), Arleen (Bill), Barbara, Grandchildren; Nicole (AJ), Larry (Gina), Brittany (Brian), Rochelle, Justin (Elizabeth), Dominique (Christopher), Jenna and 8 great grandchildren. Steve is also survived by his brother, Mark Cameron, many nieces, nephews, in-laws and outlaws. Steve was preceded in death by his loving sister, “Sissy” Lawn, his parents and son-in-law Patrick McBride. A Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 369 Georgetown Rd. in Carneys Point, NJ on Wednesday, December 26th at 10am, followed by a luncheon to celebrate his life.
