Josephine Dennis Pedrick, age 92 of Pedricktown, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Lloyd Dennis. A devoted wife and mother, she worked on the family farm along with being a loving caregiver to her father, mother, and many relatives. While caring for her mother, Jo never left the farm for 17 years. She loved cooking and collected many, many recipes. If you were the recipient of her relishes, strawberry preserves, holiday pies and other baked goods, you could taste the love that was added along with every ingredient. She is survived by her son Wayne (Kathy) Pedrick and loving grandmother of Zack (Karen) Pedrick, Gavin Pedrick, and Kirsten Pedrick (Fran Schatz). She was the proud great-grandmother of Everett Wayne Pedrick and Frankie Elizabeth Schatz, many nieces, nephews, and friends who knew her as Aunt Jo. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Charlie Pedrick, her husband of 58 years and her brother Clifton J Dennis. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 8 at the First Baptist Church at Pedricktown, 89 West Mill Street, Pedricktown, NJ 08067. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM, immediately followed by the service at 11am. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
