Jennifer Leigh Fahr

June 20, 1977 - August 22, 2021

Jennifer Leigh Fahr (nee Harris), 44, of Carneys Point, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Born in Mannington, Jennifer was the daughter of Judith Finlaw Pangburn and the late Carl "Buddy" Harris. Jennifer was a 1995 graduate of Salem High School and attended Salem County Vocational School. Jennifer was most recently employed by Acme Markets in Woodstown. Prior to that, Jennifer was a stay at home mom and devoted 25 years to babysitting children in her home. Jen was also very active with the Penns Grove High School Marching Band as the Secretary of Public Relations/Social Media. She spent countless hours volunteering her time and cheering on the band during competitions and loved every minute of it. Jen loved animals especially her dogs Hunter, Ty, and Buck and her cats Autumn, Luna, and Gracie. If she came across a stray animal, she would not leave it until she found it a home or kept it with her. Jen enjoyed hanging out in her backyard around the fire with friends and family and was considered a second mom to many of her children's friends. In addition to her mother, Jen is survived by her husband of 21 years Dale Fahr Jr, her daughter Katelyn Michaca and her husband Lance Corporal Omar Michaca, daughter Emily, son Colin, sisters Michelle Pate (Donald), Christina Crumb (Frank), brother Kevin Harris (Judy), her mother-in-law Debbie Riddle Bennett (Steve), father-in-law Dale Fahr Sr, (Rhonda) as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00am Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Georgetown Rd, Carneys Point, NJ 08069 where friends and family may call from 9:00am till 11am. Burial will take place at Lawnside Cemetery in Pilesgrove, NJ. Donations in Jennifer’s memory may be sent to the Pennsville Animal Shelter, 94 Industrial Park Rd, Pennsville, NJ 08079 or the Penns Grove High School Band Boosters, 334 Harding Highway, Carneys Point, NJ 08069.
