Jean M. Stevens, 76 passed away peacefully at home on November 12, 2013. She lived her entire life in Pennsville. Born on January 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Amelia “Daisy” Mullin. She will be sadly missed by loving husband of 56 years, Robert M. Stevens, a son, Robert M. Stevens, Jr. and his wife Gale of Delaware, a daughter, Carol Lark and her husband Lee Lark, Jr. of Elsinboro, and her grandchildren, Max and Lila Jean Stevens of Delaware. She was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence A. Mullin, Jr. and a sister, Josephine Cheeseman. Jean worked at Gaynor Glass Works after high school, before starting her family. She was a volunteer at Finns Point Lighthouse in Pennsville and also a Pink Lady volunteer for the Memorial Hospital of Salem County for 27 years. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and being with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday November 15, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at the Ashcraft Funeral Home, 740 S. Broadway, Pennsville. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Society of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, 30 E.
