Frank M. DeGennaro

Frank M. DeGennaro, 73, of Alloway, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Friday June 3, 2022. Frank graduated from Penns Grove High School in 1967. He also served in the United States Marines. Frank studied heating and air conditioning in Philadelphia and worked at Laury Heating for 20 years while also playing the keyboard in the 70’s with the Robert Mule Band. He then went on to follow his dream in the music field of traveling the world as a sound engineer/production manager for the band Blood, Sweat and Tears, Ornette Coleman, and singer Paula Cole. He helped build Ornette Coleman’s music studio in New York. David Clayton Thomas, lead singer for Blood, Sweat, and Tears, mentions Frank in his book. He most recently played with the band Back At It. Frank was predeceased by his wife of 45 years Margaret (Jennings) DeGennaro. He is survived by his loving wife Laura (Gambino) DeGennaro, his children Joseph DeGennaro and Frank DeGennaro, and his 3 grandchildren Joseph, Jonathan, and Sophia. A graveside military service will be held on Saturday June 25th at 11am at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery located off Route 45 in Pilesgrove, NJ.
