Ryan "Bubba" Raymond Hoffman

Ryan “Bubba” Raymond Hoffman, age 30, of Pennsville, NJ tragically passed away and lost his battle with juvenile diabetes on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Ryan was born in Salem, New Jersey. He was the eldest son of Lisa Marie and Duke Hoffman (Pennsville), and brother to Seth Killian Hoffman (Jillian Smith). Ryan was a proud firefighter for over 16 years, starting as a junior firefighter including Liberty Fire Company 1 in Penns Grove, New Jersey. He was the Vice President and Engineer for Liberty 1 Fire Company. Ryan worked in other fire companies throughout the years such as Carneys Point, Harrisonville, and Deepwater, but Penns Grove was his home. He loved being a firefighter and started at the early age of 12, as his Grandpop (Phillip “Kip” Allen) and Uncle (Adam Hartsough) were legacies at the company. To know Ryan was to love him. He was a hard worker, helped many people through the years and would give you the shirt off his back if anyone needed it. Ryan loved life, enjoying jet skiing, boating, fishing, wheeling in the Jeep, John Deere Tractors, and diesel trucks. He was an avid train and RC car collector and a member of the West Deptford Train Club. He loved going to the racetrack and watching the trucks and cars fly through the course. Ryan loved being on the river and enjoyed putting his toes in the sand at the beach. He was a true Eagles Fan, GO BIRDS and enjoyed watching the Phillies. Ryan loved his family very much and did everything in his power to enjoy time together even when he was ill. He put family first always. Ryan loved to do things with his hands like fixing anything mechanical and enhancing his truck and jeep, which made him happy. Ryan is survived by his Mom Lisa Hoffman (Siebold), his father Duke Raymond Hoffman, his brother Seth Hoffman (Jillian Smith), Grandmom Carolyn Allen, Aunt Mimmy Kim Drabold (Uncle Harry, Haylie Rae and Kameron), Cousin Courtney Penn (Mike, Bri, Hayleigh), Goddaughter Anabella Snyder, Gauntie (Joan and Uncle Fluff Duffitt), Uncle Adam Hartsough (Lisa, Erica, Dana), Uncle Donald VanNamee, Uncle Mickey McMann (Michael), Uncles Jamie and David Siebold, and countless family and cousins. Ryan had many close friends that he called his family, Antman Bobo, Dave and Dallas Snyder, Bobby Ecret, Dana Hoffman (Zeilman), and Kyle Miller. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents; Grandmom Eleanor Hoffman, Grandpop Raymond Hoffman, Grandpop Kip Allen, Grandpop Douglas Siebold, Nana Doris Penix, and Pop Ray Penix. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 9:30am-11am on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Ashcraft Funeral Home 740 S Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070 and the service beginning 11am, followed by a burial at Lawnside Cemetery 896 NJ-45 Woodstown, NJ 08098.
