Regina E. Biggio

Regina Eleanor O’Donnell Faunt Biggio was born at 2:55 am, September 29, 1927 at her home 71 State Street, Camden, N.J. to her mother Marion Olivia and father Joseph O’Donnell. She was the third child of the O’Donnell family. Regina passed peacefully on 12/31/2022 surrounded by family. Her early years were spent with the extended O’Donnell family residing in Camden. After the death of her father, the family relocated to Penns Grove, New Jersey. Although she eventually lived in Elmer and attended Bridgeton High School, it was the Carneys Point Penns Grove area that became the geographic hub of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Joseph, siblings James, Robert, Marion, Elaine, and Ruth, her daughters Kathleen Faunt and Suzanne (Bell) Faunt, her husbands Francis Edward Faunt and Louis Biggio, her grandsons Jesse Faunt and Eli Goolsby, and her son in law William Willis, She is survived by her brother Ray Miller(Rose), along with her children: Patricia Ann Willis , Francis E. Faunt Jr, Donna Jean Faunt Yuliano ( Pete Perniciaro), Daniel Michael Faunt (Debbie), and Michael Joseph Faunt (Amy). Jean’s main focus was loving her children; Francis, Patricia, Daniel, Donna, Suzanne, Kathleen and Michael as well as her 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews who she adored and loved. As the matriarch of the family she cared for all of her children and grandchildren throughout her life and impressed upon them love and patience. She would continue to help shape that love and kindness into their lives everyday and always helped anyone who needed it. She was a socialite of life, loved fashion, antiques, and travel. She enjoyed traveling to Ireland, Hawaii, and many other places. Jean also enjoyed music. Jean had a long journey filled with love, luck, and new life. She set a beautiful example of someone who wanted to live life each day with great expectations for the next. Jean had the luck of the Irish. She led a great, long life and when challenges fell upon her, she met them with love and grace. Her occupations included telephone operator for Bell Telephone, waitressing at Howard Johnson on the Turnpike. Her favorite job was with her dear friend Marge Stevens at the Historical Society of Salem County. Regina possessed true joy throughout her life and it is with that same joy that we now bid her farewell. A visitation will be held on January 9, 2023 from 11 am to 12 pm at Ashcraft Funeral Home, 47 State St. Penns Grove NJ with a service at 12 pm. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ directly after the service.
