Mildred Marie Tripet

Mildred “Millie” Marie Tripet passed away at the age of 59 on May 30th, 2021 surrounded by her family after battling Pancreatic Cancer. Millie was born to Walter and Verna McCarson on August 13th, 1961 in Mannington, NJ. Millie was a lifelong resident of New Jersey. She had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone with anything. Her family and friends also got to enjoy her feistiness and her silly side often. She was known to be the “MacGyver” of the family; she could take anything apart and have it fixed in no time! Millie loved her scratchies and Chinese Auctions, and she always walked away with the biggest winnings and the most baskets. Millie loved to support her grandchildren. You would always find her at a dance recital or sporting event cheering them on. Millie is survived by her three children: Tania Riek (Andrew) of Carneys Point, NJ; Monica Sayers (Walt) of Naperville, IL; and Brian Tripet (Laura) of Wellford, SC. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Lauren Durham (Colin), Lukas Riek, Dallas and Dawson Sayers, Adriana, Juliana, Liliana and Aiden Tripet. She leaves behind her fiancé Quirt Schank of Pennsville, NJ and a bonus daughter Megan Schank of San Bernardino, CA. Millie is the youngest of seven children. Her siblings are Christine Permenter (John), Margie Krough (Monty), Diane McCarson, Elsa Coffea (John), Walter McCarson (Teri), and Raymond McCarson (Sharon). She will also be missed by a host of nieces and nephews (Great/Great-Great). We cannot forget her four cats Isabell, Houdini, Alida, and Gimpy. Millie is predeceased by her beloved parents and two nephews Michael Gill and Jason Walker. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 4th, 2021 from 9:30am to 11am followed by a service at 11am at Ashcraft Funeral Home, 740 S. Broadway Pennsville, NJ. Interment will be at Lawnside Cemetery immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made for Millie’s granddaughter, Juliana who is fighting her own battle with Colitis and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
